This is an opportunity to feature the success of Alaska Natives

Too many times Alaska Natives don't brag about themselves. It is not a part of our culture. But it is important to highlight those that are succeeding and giving back.

    I find this blog amusing and intrigued by the notion of our shared conservative cultural belief system, i.e., to not brag about ourselves. It is, however, socially acceptable to allow others to brag about us (for us) if our past actions have held any merit in having benefited anyone (besides ourselves).

    This blog appears an attempt to create a paradigm shift in our perspective of self analysis. This medium is a good place to start viewing who "WE" recognize or hold in high enough esteem to begin bragging out them and their accomplishments - thus drawing attention to ourselves in an indirect way of recognizing who and what we value is sacred to us and our people.
