Post Something About What You Appreciate About Alaska

There are so many memories
I have about growing up in dillingham. One of them is sledding out behind our home. We had this great hill and my friends and I would spend hours every day just sledding.

  1. I remember doing the same!!! It was so much fun! I used to give Cultural Presentations & once at CSP an employee asked me "How come you lived in poverty & didn't do anything about it to improve your situation?" I replied, "We didn't know we were poor because we didn't feel poor. Life was rich & bountiful with rewards if we were just willing to go out & get them. I had a River in my back yard, & an Ocean in my front yard. It was heaven. That hill is just a hill until someone lays on their belly & rushes down it to enjoy all it has to offer. I long for more snow hills in my life... they are there for the taking! :)
